I have applied from TCS and I guess no one received any update in TCS till now.
US senators till public talk of only 3 names TCS, Wipro and Infosys. So i doubt they issue anything to them this time at the early stages. Maybe they give for all and then give for these 3 big names.
It seems that they have got the infomration regarding the lottery selection, but keeping it very confidential

This is a TCS fellow. Last week called our local TCS SSG. They said, by last weekend information regarding lottery would be received. But no information till now…no one from my account in Bangalore has received any communication regarding the same…

I got it on April 18th through my university.
University people can only tell the receipt number right? did your attorney received hard copy of the receipt?
I do not have the hard copy yet, but who cares as long as you can check your status on USCIS.

What exactly do you need to ask your school? They are saying to get any such info from the lawyer.
Just ask them to check if there is any update on your SEVIS. They are able to provide the information. If your SEVIS is updated, it should show pending status along with the receipt number.

Guys and Girls, Here is what we can make assumptions about H1B processing until now
1. AD/PP and RQ/PP : very low chances of getting receipts by the end of this week because premium processing starts on april 15 and could be ending by the month end.
As the Lottery is done on April 7, USCIS will try to process Premium applications ASAP
Applicants who are under PP may continue to loose hopes by the end of this month.
2. AD/RP and RQ/RP : Had to wait until may 2nd week to get the receipt no’s or info on Cheque clearances from your lawyer , so still there is hope guys under this category of filing.
Add 3-4 days in your wait time, as receipt will come through mail
If your cheque has been deposited, does it mean that you are selected in the lottery?

I have checked in USCIS..it states background check is taking place but i dont see any mention of the lottery result or selection

Just one mroe fact. There was a guy yesterday that had a receipt num EAC13132….that got approver and mine is WAC 13135…and mine is still in initial review.
So i am guessing, if yours is WAC13138… there can be hundrers of applications in the middle.
Does any one else got an approved receipt number close to WAC/EAC 13135??

It said “H-1B Public Access Folder sent to employer.” What does that mean??

I believe it is only the public access file that needs to be maintained at the place of work once you file your LCA, in case there is an audit. I might be wrong but that’s what i understand.

Even I was taken a back too when I saw my status being changed from Initial Review to Decison.
I believe USCIS are moving forward with a great speed.If they dont find any errors in petition they r giving out their decisions.

Yea, I also have same doubt! I have filed through MAARKOVERSEAS, a consulting firm, which states that they have filed using RQ/PP but till no updates. They make doubtful comment “Lottery system may happen in the month of June we will let you know once the decision come’s from USCIS” – either they have not filed or they want to push all querries to June.

Mine was approved 2 days ago under AD/RP/VSC. My friend field under RC/RP/VSP she got her receipt couple of days ago. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!
Yesterday my friend said that mine is not selected but how do i make sure that it is confirmed news..Today i can see MH1B getting the post that his petetion is selected in RC/RP..Does it mean they will send the results for the unselected people only after they post all the results for the selected candidates in RC/RP or do they send randomly? How do i come to know that if my application was not selected in the lottery.

If your case if RQ/RP, then I suggest please wait till end of this month, might be they are sending the receipt number randomly, hence there is chance to get updates until end of this month of mid of May.

Hi, My Employer has filed my case using PP under the regular 2014 cap. Since I see couple of regular processing people getting their receipt numbers, does it mean that petitions filed under PP is done and I should have expected a response by now? Since I didnt get any response does it mean not selected ?
PP candidates do not have to wait for a mail (post)… the employer and attorney wud have received an e-mail as soon as the application has been selected for the process.. check with either of them, they cud have received a notification, and failed to notify u regarding this… all the best:-))

I havnt got selected in the lottery.Yesterday my friend said all the people whose post by USICS getting delayed have got their Visa not being selected in lottery.Mine was applied under RQ/RP.Am not sure if anyone else of you has also recieved such bad news..

Have you studied in the US? if yes, check your SEVIS with your school international advisor. It takes 2 days for them to update the syst but weeks to for your lawyers to get the mail

Yes, I filed on April 5th, received by USCIS at 2pm (send by USPS). I am under RQ/RP. Got recepit on Monday April 22. Both my employer and my lawyer got the mail from USCIS. I think USCIS send by random. Don’t lose hope!

Please do not lose hope. My spouse’s check was cleared on April 19 and she received her notice today. There are chances that you might receive your receipt till May 2nd week at least.

They started processing RQ/RP last week. It may take 3 more weeks to send all receipts. So be positive, you will get it.

One of the easiest ways for you to find if your case has been selected is to check if the Bank Checks for H1b have been cashed with your employer.
All checks are electronically processed by USCIS and they will have the Receipt No on the back of the check. I used this to check the online status for my wife.

I just got to know through my law firm that my application has been selected in the lottery.
I fall under Regular quota and the application was filed under regular processing at California Service Centre. My application was filed on April 5 2013.
I do not have any further details at this point.
