Do they wait for the bill to get enough cosponsors before the bill goes for vote? Typically, how does it work?
Please share a list of cosponsors, so we can reach out to our representatives to support the bill
Bhakti,
It is already available on the Bill Page. Check https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/3648/cosponsors
As an American, I will fight you tooth and nail to get you out of my country. We have a big homeless problem in America and the very last thing we need is to invite a people who do not know the meaning of a contraceptive and who have killed baby girls just because they were not a boy. I will fight for you to stay IN YOUR COUNTRY!
Daryl good luck. Just so you know, we pay for your food stamps. Be careful what you whish for.
I do not see lot of activity on this in terms of meetings or demonstrations. Is it active ?
SK,
It is in the very beginning stages. We would see more in the upcoming weeks, months.
I have been actively in contact with my congressman, Eric Swalwell, in order for him to vote no on this bill. My brother has been pushed out into the streets and is homeless because the United States infrastructure cannot house this many people. We are not India. We will not become India.
Just for an overall idea, how many co-signers does this usually need to get voted?
Even if this bill is not passed, h1b worker are going on o stay here for ever. The bill won’t solve your concern.
