News: Visa fees for Non-immigrant visas like H1B, L1 to increase from June 4

Department of State released a press release today stating that non-immigrant visa application fees will be increased from June 4, 2010. They say that to cover the rising cost and the in-depth consideration nature of the visas.

Summary of Fee increase related to H1B , L1 and F1 :

  • B1, B2, F, M and J visa will be $140
  • H, L, O, P, Q and R category visa: $150

There are fee increases for other visas too. Read the below press releases and articles from Department of state website. Also, you should check websites of your respective Consulate in your home country for any specifics of the fee increase and the exact details.

Check out VFS site to see the fees required during stamping. All the fees that are required post approval need to be paid during stamping process.
