| H4 EAD Applying experience: | Filed my EAD through my husband's company attorney on 2/19/21 at the Vermont processing center. Current EAD at the time expired on 8/1/21. Renewal did not come in time and employer decided to place me on unpaid leave. After our state senator's office contacted USCIS on my behalf it took about 8 working days for expedite request to be approved (Based on severe financial loss to the company-had a letter from my employer explaining this); 4 more days for case to be approved and 8 more days for me to receive my EAD in the mail. Had to go on a month of unpaid leave but I am finally able to resume tomorrow. |
