| Additional Info / Notes | Had submitted my application at fingerprinting since I was qualified for Interview Waiver as my last B1/B2 has expired within 12 months. I was called for Interview via a green slip under 221g and was again fingerprinted and made to go through interview. Its an extreme vetting process as per revised DoS guidelines it seems. I was asked numerous questions and literraly grilled. I have had 3 visas in past and have been traveling to the States for past 17 years and my Wife and Child are U.S Citizens living with me in Mumbai., despite I was suspiciously asked questions, at last I was said the visa is being issued, hence waiting since they might issue visa for only 1 year or 10 years multiple. Donot know yet ! fingers Crossed ! |
