| Additional Info / Notes | This is my 4th 221g. (1st for my F1 visa in 2004, and 3 times for my H1B(2012, 2015 and now 2017). All these three times, I Mya case was cleared in about 4 weeks. 2004-F1- passport returned with 221g written on back of it. Officer did not ask any additional documents or asked to send any. Got an email after 4 weeks saying come to the Chennai Consulate with passport and get it stamped. 2012-H1B-passport retained. Officer asked me to submit the answers for questionnaire. 4 weeks after got an email to pick up my passport. 2015-H1B-passport returned. Questionnaire and resume. 4 weeks after emailed me to submit the passport. 2017-H1B passport returned. Questionnaire and resume submitted upon request. Waiting now. 1/25/2018: passport requested 1/29/2018:passport submitted 2/1/2018: visa issued. |
