| Additional Info / Notes | I am working as Marine engineering officer on board ships. I had submitted my application for renewal of C1/D visa on 20th Dec 2017 My passport was returned along with 221(g) Yellow colour slip. Consultant advised me to submit my Original seamen book (CDC) along with the passport. Later on, after submission of the original CDC they issued another Yellow colour 221(g), on which they had mentioned that my CDC is not valid. For your kind information, CDC is Continuous Discharge Certificate nothing rather than an Seafarer ID issued by the ministry of shipping for the seafarers.It is exactly like passport but having blue colour on top. On front page the validity was for 2012-2014.I got extension stamp in 2014 itself, on page no 30 showing validity till 10years from the date of issuance by Director general of shipping. Probably they had seen the first page Upon, contacting their support department, team had informed me submit all the soft copies of relevant documents as proof and send it to advance processing department. I did so on January 12th 2018. Let's see how long it will take!! I don't have any clue. |
