Additional Info / Notes | Facing an unique situation. I applied for B1/B2 visa (through my employer) and went to New Delhi VFS for ten-printing. My last B1/B2 visa was expired in Feb 2017 and so I was eligible for IWP (Interview Waiver Program). I submitted my passports at new delhi VFS. After 3 days I collected my passports from VFS with a letter. It says "we are unable to process your visa application at this time, as we require your presence at the Embassy. Your case has been suspended under section 221(g) of INA until the below indicated process is completed - Fingerprints and Interview. Please bring this letter and your passport to the Embassy on any business day before 10:00 AM within one calendar year from the date of this letter. Please do not make a new appointment" I am not sure what should be the next steps. Letter says that I need to visit Embassy on ANY BUSINESS DAY and I don't need to make any appointment. Does it mean I can go there on any working day without any appointment? Is it a normal scenario? What documents should I carry? I have the invite letter from the US office of my employer. I also have the Visa request letter from my New Delhi employer along with 3 years Income Tax Returns of my employer. And all my documents. What should I do? Please suggest. |
