The person who took my interview was an African American and she hardly had a smile on her face wasn’t friendly. I am not saying because I received 221g , but based on her demeaner.

“I currently work for X company, however, my H1B employer would be Y Company”... She cut me off and said to answer one question at a time. So, I waited for the next question.

Provided 4 months recent pay stubs. She took them and studied it for a while and gave it back.

Provided ( She was typing as soon as I provided these details).

She gave a yellow slip and asked to wait in the lobby till we call you.
They called me after 40 mins or so and was asked to get into a room No 11 where there was an Indian asking me below details.
Based on the pay stubs he had received from the officer, he asked are you currently working for X company?
Told him Yes
Asked me about Petitioner and the client
- (told him that X are my H1B Petitioner & Y are the client)
He asked do I have any document from Client ( He was kind of stressing on this).
I said I do not have a client letter as MSA is between my H1B employer & Implementation Partner
Asked MSA & I129 docs.
Provided
Again, he wanted to double check on the location of the client mentioned in the LCA, So he asked me, would you be working at XYZ, Location in US?
I said Yes
.
After this, he asked to me to wait in the Lobby and said would be called out shortly.
So after 40 mins or so, i was again put across the same Officer earlier.
She didn’t ask me any questions and let me know that my case is in administrative processing, and I need to submit the documents at the earliest and handed me the 221g slip. With that said, she handed me the documents I had submitted along with my passport.
Today, I called up the Chennai Consulate and let them know the case of 221g and they told me to drop an email on this. They would come back within 2 days time. So, I dropped an email to support-india@ustraveldocs.com with the details. Waiting for them to respond.
Its very unfortunate thing that I received the 221 g and I am very disappointed. |
