Additional Info / Notes | Interview for F1 and F2 Visas on August 16. The interview did not last for long; we were questioned about the number of entries to the US (several as my husband studied in the US and for the past years has attended some academic conferences). Besides, we are asked about our jobs but nothing inquisitive about it. VO was polite and professional; he concluded the interview by saying that our visa application had entered into a process called "Administrative Processing" (AP) and that it could last a couple of weeks or more to conclude the process. Our status changed from "Refused" (normal status while AP) to AP on August 24, then it changed from AP to "Issued" on August 30. Blessings to all! PS: Before we apply for our F1/F2 visas, we hold valid B1/B2 visas. |
