| Additional Info / Notes | "Last Updated Date" (on CEAC Status Tracker) : 2019-12-20 UPDATE, 2019-12-30: I got my passport back without the H-1B stamping, but with a second 221(g) blue form. It says that I need to attend another interview with a consular office on any Mon/Tue/Thurs between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. I do not need to schedule another appointment. The CEAC Status Tracker still shows "Administrative Processing" with the last updated date as 2019-12-20. UPDATE 2, 2019-12-31: I went to the consulate for the follow-up interview. Turns out that it was a confusion with my identity! I have an identical twin, and this led to some additional verification from their end. Clearly their facial recognition system needs work! (Just kidding, even Google confuses us two!) |
