Additional Info / Notes I have heard that people having Ph.D. and research background and working for a company in healthcare domain (which is my case) are mostly receiving 221(g) since the domain falls under TAL (Technology alert list). It took about 9 days after the interview date to coordinate with my lawyers and get the requisite docs submitted. Hoping to hear from consulate soon. (Oct. 31, 2019, Got a request to submit passport || Oct. 31, 2019, I submitted the passport. || Nov. 1, 2019 and Nov. 4, 2019, ceac website status updated on these two dates. || Nov. 5, 2019, Status on ceac website changed from "Administrative processing" to "Issued". || Nov. 6, picked up passport from Consulate.)
