How it all started?
Exactly one year ago, I was talking to my best friend and he asked me “ Why don’t you start a blog and write about your experiences in US…”…In fact, I was supposed to write on his blog Ayaskantam couple years ago back in 2007 and 2008, I was partying too much and never had time…Finally, I took his word and started a blog on Blogspot with URL : redbus2us.blogspot.com… on Dec 8th , 2009 I moved RedBus2US blog to external hosting due to limitations in blogger and enormous support from readers like you…You can browse all the articles using Archives in menu bar, Check out the first article about Redbus2US

Jai Bolo Ganesh Maharaj Ki Jai I have received my receipt today. AD/PP/VCS. One thing I have noticed is that AD people are getting the receipts slowly. I pray for all the people who are waiting very eagerly to know their status. All the best!
it seems there is no receipts generating today? why?
Wow, marvelous blog layout! How long have you been
blogging for? you made blogging look easy. The overall look of your website is magnificent, let alone the content!
This is a phenomenal service offered by you guys. Just by viewing the comments from Saurabh and others we can learn a lot of information regd H1B visas. I wish this site would become One-Stop destination for all the queries related to H1B.
Great job and Good luck guys…
Congratulations guys, you guys did a great job. All the best for your bright future.
Congrats guys!!! this website is pretty useful. Most of the queries are anwered, really the views & answers are amazing.
Congrats Kumar.!
I found your website perfect. I too have a lot of good & bad experience when I first came to US, infact all of us have it but very few share it. The reason being we all become so busy with our student and job life.
I would like to contribute to this site in all possible ways. Request you to start a post on filing Tax Returns(I didn’t find one) as year end is nearing and many of our Indian friends would be curious and looking around for right information.
Vijay
Vijay,
Thanks. You can send your experiences to share with our readers, please send to redbus2us (at) gmail.com . There are couple articles on Tax filing, will try to write more…in the mean time check these out :
1. OPT to H1B tax filing, multiple W2
2. F1 Student Tax filing Info
Great collection of information in your website. I would recommend anyone who is coming to US to go through this website and read all the relevant articles. I would also share my experience or put comments whenever possible.
Keep the good work going….!!
Congrats Kumar!
I found your site by chance, but after that I could not resist going through each article on your site. It took me 7-8 days to read all articles (usually read your blog in the morning or after office in night at home). The information is very helpful.
Thanks Mcwintek ! Glad to know you find it useful.
Congratulations Kumar, Saurabh and the guest authors. You are doing a great job and I’m sure that this blog is going to reach out to a lot many people across the globe.
Frankly, it’s just been two days that I have been reading the blog but have read more than 70% of the articles – many of which have opened up my perspectives! So to me it feels like you’ve been writing for years!
Keep up the good work.
Thanks Rohit ! Amazing to know you have read so much in few days….you must be like “Rain Man” able to read faster…
I’m not a would-be immigrant to US. As my son is in the USA, having finished undergrad and got his H1B, I started evincing interest in your blog-posts, just to be abreast of H1B procedures. Later, out of sheer academic interest, I went through all your entries. I never knew that there was so much to learn about living in the US. You have been covering a wide canvas about various aspects of life in the US. Nowhere could one find such fund of information and details about the US all in one place. You are able to convincingly (more or less) guide the readers on their queries. Your time and service, particularly to the Indian community, is immeasurable. I wish you good luck in all your endeavors.
Thanks Chandramouli for all the nice words and taking time to read various posts ! I will try to do my best 🙂
congratualtion Mr.kumar
keep going further, life is rewarding you for your selfless service
may you move with peace and bliss
