Myself and my wife was traveled to US in L1B and L2 visa on different dates. So my wife got I-94 date up to Visa expiry date, but I am having additional 6 month from my Visa expiry date.
As per my understanding I can apply for my L1B extension only prior to 6 month of my I-94 exipiry date. But by that time my wife's I-94 would have been expired.
Is there any way that i can extend my wife's I-94 date upto my I-94 date?
In this fourm i read that i have to call local CBP office to correct my wife I-94 date. I called Cincinnati CBP office but But that officer told me that they don't do this and I have to contact USCIS office.
I am looking for your help, please suggest if there is any way?
Hello,
Try contacting CBP Deferred office for this, I am not sure which one you referred from the below one. Try different one. If that does not work , please contact your office Immigration team. Some officers are not aware of this one . U can also directly visit the CBP office with all relevant documents with out taking appointment. if nothing works, may be I-539 is the option to extend the stay based on ur L1. I am not sure about the I-539 option accuratley.
Thanks,
