I have received my I-20 from the University of New Mexico dor my MBA. Currently I work in Singapore and hence I plan to take my F1 interview here itself.
Is it a good decision to take interview here or should I look for a location in India?

While there is no hard fast rule that mandates that you should take visa interview in home country, some people try to take the visa interview in India. Many people take US visa interviews in their country of residence, just for convenience and it should be fine...Giving visa interview in India does not guarantee your visa.  In your case, for Singapore, as per USTravelDocs Website, it says you can give visa interview in Singapore as you reside here
