My employer is not allowing me to do premium processing of i140. Currently I have an emergency situation where I need to get my i140 so that my spouse can get H4 EAD. She only has a few months remaining on her visa. I tried to talk with him but he doesnt agree. I think he is afraid that will get a RFE or just wants to hold me for long. Has anyone else been through this and what can be done? Is there another way I can do premium processing for i140? Thank you.

Whether an RFE comes is not a question of premium processing. That would also happen during the normal process. Is an immigration lawyer involved? Talk to him. The USCIS does not care who pays the fee. The check will anyway be sent by the lawyer to the USCIS.
