Can my current employer stop H1B transfer to new employer?

Hi,

My employer A had filed my H1B petition. It is approved till March 2018, but unfortunately I never got a chance to go for the visa interview and get my visa stamped.

Now, I have an offer from employer B and they are willing to get my H1B transferred. Will employer A come to know about my H1B getting transferred? Since employer A paid for my H1B petition, can they cause any kind of interference/issue because of which my petition will not be transferred or will be revoked etc.? Will employer B pay the petition transfer fees to USCIS or to employer A?

Please help me out and I checked this question is not repeated.

Thanks in advance

THERE is NOTHING called H1B TRANSFER in this WORLD.

Each H1B is a fresh petition for each of the employers.

Its not a SINGLE copy moves from one employer to another employer.

Each employer files his own H1B by having you as a the H1B employee. One cant stop other…

At a time a single employee(you) can have as many H1B visas as you can from different employers. You can also work for as many H1B employers as you want but you MUST work for at least one H1B employer at any time to be in the H1B status.

Thanks a lot ImmiGeek for the reply. I have a doubt, when you say my new employer will have to file my H1B visa, does it mean I will have to go through the H1B lottery system once again?

No. You dont need to go through the new petition quota.
