can i travel to india if my h1b visa is in pending?

Hello,

I had applied my visa last year 2011 and its got denied, my consultant reappealed now .

so case is pending, Is it safe to travel india on H4 and come back with H4. and i need to go for H4 extension stamping in chennai.

Please reply. Would be great help.

Yes you can go to India on H4 and come back on H4, as long as it is before Oct 1st.
