Can I change employer, while H1b is pending.

My current employer/vendor applied for H1 for 2013 quota, it is not approved yet. can I join another job thru another vendor/employer, I have L2-EAD until Jul-2013.

Will this pending H1B petition will get affected in any way, if I leave this employer.

I don't think changing employer is an issue.

What Happen when H1 gets approved on 1st Oct or before 1st Oct.
