H1B processing - Time required

Question

Hello,

 

I wanted to know how much time is required for processing the Visa after the reciept number is recieved.

My Visa is in in Initial Recview currently. It was filled at USCIC on 23rd May 2012 and the reciept says that it was acknowledge on 24th May 2012.

From the information you provided it seems like you have filed under regular processing, hence your petition can take anywhere between 2-6 months time.
