I-129 Petition wages and benefits

0 votes
In "Part 5. Basic Information About  the Proposed Employer and Employment" it says:

8. Wages per week or per year: $XXX year

9. Other Compensation (explain): Standard Benefits.

Let's say the benefits are $BBB.

Does this mean that I will be paid $XXX - $BBB (part of my year salary will go on benefits),

or I will be paid $XXX and Company will pay extra $BBB for my benefits?

Thanks.

I believe it will be the salary plus benefits. Usually, benefits amounts to non-monetary items like health plans, life insurance, etc. Sometimes benefits include bonus payouts which may or may not be part of your salary. Check your offer letter carefully for what is mentioned in that.
