got h1b receipt no less than a week, regular process?

my h1b filed on 23may, got receipt on 29may under regular process, is it possible within short time that we get receipt no? or my consultany fooled me? i checked my status vth that no it says Initial review. pls suggest me any one

Kay, there is no specific timeline to receive receipt number. Sometimes it takes days while sometimes weeks.

If you have the receipt number you can check the status online for any updates. If you still have doubts, you can ask for copy of the physical receipt which will be mailed to your company. This copy will clarify all your doubts.
